Union Special Hemming Service for 25oz Jeans

We offer a chain stitch hemming service for newly purchased jeans. Please add this product to your jeans order. 

This hemming service is only for 25oz Jeans.  For all other denim weights, please use the standard hemming service.

Hemming is performed on a vintage Union Special 43200G machine manufactured in 1939. As the denim is passed through the machine, the inner and outer sides of the hem are offset with respect to each other. This, in addition to the elasticity of the chain stitch, allows for the roping effect when the hem is twisted after washing or soaking.

Please note that hemmed Jeans are not returnable.

At this time, we are only offering our hemming service for new purchases made through our online store.  We do hem previously purchased new Iron Heart jeans, but these must be brought to our shop location in Hamburg.
